Much of the first part of this year went by in a blur, getting ready for a big tournament in New York. That weekend has come and gone, and the event was a great time. I came in 15th out of 79, and our team finished first in the team competition.
Everything since that point has been out of balance. I came home to find our cable modem dead, and it's shocking me how much I came to count on it, and need it. Brown's election hit me surprisingly hard, and it's lead to my disowning my Republican, Catholic cousin, may he burn in Hell forever. Once again I find myself pursued by several people who I have no interest in. This isn't the way I wanted to get back to LJing, but there you go.

Our DNS will often crap out and I get incredibly cranky when that happens, the intermittent failures drive me nuts. I do tend to go days at a time without logging in at home, and probably will soon since I "wasted" most of my day off on Monday lost in an LJ hole.
Being home so much this weekend, I got an incredibly irritating number of automated calls "reminding" me to vote (I hung up on Bill Clinton's recording, as soon as I did it, I was curious as to what he had to say, oops). Gah! Can't they just work from a voter registration list??? I'm curious what the percentage voter turnout was, one figure says around 22% by 3pm yesterday.
Have you found that you're getting more expressions of interest since you started doing Crossfit?

Our Internet has returned (it was a bad cable modem) and all is right with the world.
I think the voter turnout was surprisingly high. All the independents that put Obama in office now put a Republican in as well. If they think this will bring about more change, I think they're mistaken: there will now be MORE gridlock and partisan politics.
It's hard to say if I'm getting more expressiors of interest or not. I think it's all pretty much the same. Random.
