The week of FAIL?

Monday - lots of social awkwardness
Tuesday - sick, worked from home
Wednesday - lost my keys (like totally lost) somewhere between office and home.
What kind of FAIL will occur for the rest of the week?

Work keys - replaced
House keys - replaced this morning (duplicating them this weekend)
Car keys - ordered new key from Suzuki dealer in Braintree, will arrive in a week. Need to see locksmith for finally crafting of the key (much less expensive than ordering pre-cut key).

So, no car for a week. That rules out most clubbing, the tournament in NH (baring a ride, not likely), must secure a ride to Watertown for Sunday. This is an annoyance, nothing more. Happens to everyone. I beat myself up over it a lot less than I used to.

I might need to buy something special for lunch to cheer me up, regardless.

*sending cheery thoughts of WIN your way*

See you at game tonight!

I was feeling iffy about game, but since I recovered the house keys and ordered the car keys, there's nothing in my way. I even brought my books and character sheets with me.

And hey, if you're not in the mood to run, we could always watch movies or something instead (though gaming might also help pull one out of a low headspace).

If you want to go to Xmortis Friday, I will pick you up after climbing (which would be on the early side, probably 7:30 or 8, since I'm expecting people for pregame), you can stagger to club from pregaming and crash in my living room (has bed-like facilities) and I'll take you home in the morning.

Or some subset thereof.

I will consider that! baring alternate plans, I'll contact you about it tomorrow during the day.

Yesterday, I lost my driver's license somewhere between the front door of my office building and my desk ... so I sympathize with the FAIL that is stuff disappearing.

If it helps, you can get to our place relatively by public transit (73 bus from Harvard Square)

Ugh! See, that kind of thing happens to everyone, or anyone, at any time! No one is immune to such effects.

Having watched Wristcutters recently, I'm beginning to think I have a portable black hole that things keep falling into (If you haven't seen it, I highly reccommend it).

I may try the bus, or call others coming my way.

Seconded on Wristcutters!

Ok, you're going to have to watch out for sneak-attack hugs.

I most certainly won't be on my guard to defend against sneak attacks hugs. I'll just keep walking on, all oblivious-like.
