The Great Breakfast Experiment

Breakfast this morning was a mushroom and cheese omelet, potatoes, toast, and a banana.  Absolutely zero crash in mood, lots of energy.  It was a lot of food, though.  Tomorrow we'll go back to my regular cereal, a hard boiled egg, and fruit.

My roommate has a rougher day that I did, so we both decided a stiff drink was in order, followed by Rock Band therapy with Mathew.  Say what you want about "learning to play a real instrument" or whatever, but there's a lot of satisfaction in a shared game experience where you can pound on buttons and drum pads.  It's good stress relief too, as we were all in great spirits after the game.

I read about two of Obama's staff pics stepping down from their nomination due to tax problems.  It's a bit of a tumble for our President, but if it weeds out the bad apples, I don't mind it.  Shame on you, Tom Daschle and Nancy Killefer.  It's pretty pathetic when the party that's big on increasing taxes won't even pay their own.

It sounds like it could be a protein problem... maybe have more protein than jut 1 egg in the morning?

Hmm, perhaps. I'll have to look into other protein sources in the morning.

*insert innuendo here*

The Great Breakfast Experiment will continue!

Or leave out the potatoes and have half a banana?
