Where were you?

I was pulling into my driveway. It was 11:11 when I heard on NPR that McCain was calling to congratulate Obama on becoming the 44th President of the United States of America.

I was dressed up like Sarah with an AK-47 in hand and about to shoot the polar bear live on CCTV, when they cut to McCain's concession speech.

I will never forget that moment.

We were in a daze when the screaming began as one of the networks called it 15min earlier, but it was still a daze of disbelief. But once McCain got up there to speak -- my gods, it was really real then. Real and unforgettable.
