The people who support the support (or the double back end)

Usually Shannon and I skip our quarter A&F meetings, because we'd rather be manning the phones or working on tickets rather than going to meetings.  Today we were told to attend by our boss, and so we did. Near the end of the talk our COO pointed out that Accounting and Financing were often seen as the faceless support of the company, the ones who keep business running smoothly.  Behind them were the people who support the support, making sure that A&F can do their jobs.  A light bulb went on in my head.  Does he mean...

Yes, he did.  IT and the payroll woman got a nice pre-paid Amex card in appreciation for our efforts.  BSG season 3 here I come!

schweeeeeeeeeeet.....my hubby (i.t. and dac support for charter) got one of those rare but schweeeeeeeeeeeet kudos last month. sad that they are so damn rare for yall....for if anyone really thought about it, the business depends upon yall to run that damned hampster wheel.

We don't make the company money, but the company couldn't make money if we weren't keeping their email going, and their phones up, and all their documents stored. Development are the VIPER jocks, we're the grease monkeys. :)
