a cure for what ails ya
Sometimes, despite having a fairly down day, going out to the club can be JUST what the doctor ordered. My knees was twinging from having wrenched it earlier on the ice, so I didn't go crazy with the dancing. There was a small crowd, but some quality people, including an old friend from out of town! I have to give the evening a thumbs up. Once we get past the new year and people have a month of cold under their belts, I suspect I'll see more people out again.
In other thrilling news, I mailed my penultimate Tax payment yesterday. The last one goes out in January, right on schedule.
Hotness.

i actually couldn't get out of my street last night. the city hadn't plowed the little extension and i kept sliding on the ice. today they added some sand/salt combo and a single pass at the icepack. it's somewhat better.
i fell on my knee yesterday due to the ice, too, and while it hurt a lot for a while, i forced myself to keep walking and by the time i returned home it felt all better. no bruising this morning! just a mild red mark where i scraped it.

In a few weeks we'll all toughen up to in and be ready for the rest of winter!
