there is a world of difference between 3x10, and 3x12. Six extra repititions doesn't seem like so much, but that burn cuts right through you and lingers. All the weight sets went up to 3x12 today. I am inspired by the examples of lepidosiren and water_chile, and am making the gym a priority for the next month. My own little experiment. Don't expect the final results to look anything like lepidosiren though. Think more Daniel Craig. He's a much more realistic goal for me to strive for.

Time to shower and let my arms cool down enough to pick up a paint brush. Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

Dude, you totally have the upper hand in raw materials: broader shoulders, longer muscles (shorter tendons), better height, and non-chopsticky legs. As you mentioned, I think it's just a matter of prioritizing Iron Time.
