the sweet taste of victory

Our thanksgiving pies have arrived.  Our company buys them for us each year as part of the Pie in the Sky Community Servings program.  They are absolutely delicious.  In fact, I think I need some pie... right now.

We leave at 2:30 tomorrow to begin the long weekend.  That's like having ice cream on your pie.

Mmmm.  Pie.

My company also hooked us up with Community Servings, but I got back too late to take advantage of it this year. Enjoy your pie! :)
(I really wish I got Friday off, stupid hospital)

I already tried a piece. One of the best pies I ever had, really!

Ooooh, pie. I'm hoping Andy diverts some of the Quebrada pies to our house.

Question for you - should I bring some paper bowls and spoons with me for soup-eating? Not sure what you've got/will have on hand.

I have some spoons, but no bowls currently. If you can bring some, that would rock a lot!

No problem - I'll grab a stack of 'em.

I guess HBS also has a pie day for employees....which I am currently missing by being in classes today.

Related to pie...

I'm making a 'Harvest Tart' for Thursday. It has all kinds of crazy fruit stuff in it, plus walnuts. I have sweet corn icecream (and maybe pumpkin icecream) to go with it.
