This post has been edited for whining

After the results of my sleep study this week, I'll know whether I need a new mattress or not.  Getting out of debt would be nice, but why should I be different than the rest of you?  That just leads to putting on airs.  I can look forward to solid nights of deep, restful sleep.  While I"m at it, some new footwear may be a necessary commodity.  Some good waterproof boots for sure, since winter is coming up.

Edit:  Mattresses are EXPENSIVE.  Just a statement of fact

I have some slats for my bed, and plywood would be cheap. As an experiment, I'm going to remove my box spring for a while and see how different the bed feels.

My head would hit the ceiling if I jumped up and down. Other activities however... ;)

LOL. with the box spring gone, you will be able to feel what is wrong with your mattress as well. if your ceiling was sturdy enough, you may want to look into a "floating" bed. it is pretty fun for all activities.
