jchrisobrien: (big trouble!)

This post has been edited for whining

After the results of my sleep study this week, I'll know whether I need a new mattress or not.  Getting out of debt would be nice, but why should I be different than the rest of you?  That just leads to putting on airs.  I can look forward to solid nights of deep, restful sleep.  While I"m at it, some new footwear may be a necessary commodity.  Some good waterproof boots for sure, since winter is coming up.

Edit:  Mattresses are EXPENSIVE.  Just a statement of fact

Mattress was next on my shopping list, but I put it off another 6 mo. or longer than planned to make room for more traveling. I have no travel planned as yet for 2007, so maybe I'll get around to mattress shopping then. I've been told the places to go are the factory direct mattress places -- and that there is one in Kendall Sq..

I never thought I'd use this sentence, but: "L.L. Bean has some really great winter boots right now!" ($40-60)

Nice. I called 800-mattress, and will use them as a test range after I browse through a few stores/web sites.

I hope to look into some boots and shoes too, tonight.
