And UPN said...

Let there be Buffy.
And it was good.

This was a very good opener for the season. They had their rational down, and showed some nice twists with the characters. Some of the actors are aging a little more than the others, but that's inevitable now isn't it? Now that they are all out of school/college, they are allowed to look more their actual age. :)

Still, a very good episode, and it looks like many more good ones to follow. On thedown side, my VCR conked out at one point and I missed about 10 minutes ofthe show.

AARGH!

And the cold I've been fighting off all day seems to be settling in now. Im sweating, stuffing up, and had some pressure in my head. Looks like my little day off is going to take a little longer. Yet even here, is a silver lining. I only get sick once a year. So once I shake this, I'll be good until at least January.
I think I'll run around in the November weather with wet hair and shorts, just to prove my point.

Wet hair and shorts

At least you made it out last night to Ceremony.

Aspirin and antihistamines are my prescription (I'm a medical librarian!).

I wasn't too impressed with the first hour I saw of Buffy before running out to flyer at Bottle Rocket. so I guess I'll have to catch it on your video.

I was worse off last night with the whole cold thing than on Monday. It hit me really hard last night and this morning, but it seems to be receeding.

*grin* dammit :)

Damn my dyslexia, I just read that as wet shorts and hair and got all giddy. *laugh* Then I re-read it.

I'm such a tease...

I was glad that they didn't have Buffy "snap out it" really quickly. I liked how they had her just react instinctivly to protect people, but lapse back into comatoseness after that.

Yeah... Um, and more interaction between Willow and Tara is gooooood!

I think Buffy's return to normalicy will be a big focus for the show, and they will take their time with it.

more... "interaction"... heh heh. Maybe they'll have their own decon scene (ala Enterprise). They certianly aren't shying away from them acting as a couple.

eh...

It was....okay.
I am left feeling dissatisfied....

It could have been much worse.
It could have been much better.

And yet, I still am on edge for next Tuesday.

So that worked.... :-)

She's turning to the Dark Side. And doing a really good job portraying it. Even though the things she does are for the best (fighting Glory last season, bringing Buffy back) the actions are taking a toll on her soul. And eventually she will have to reconcile that.

Willow killed a fawn (you know...baby deer)?!?

How were you dissatisfied?

heh, for one, YOU weren't close.... :-)
The other reasons, I haven't quite formed a respectful objection yet... I'm sure I'll tell you when I do...
