jchrisobrien: (getting ready)

Salsa! (not the dip)

The first salsa class was much more difficult than I expected.  Lots of different body movements, different rhythms, and precise steps.  Oh, and we sweated our asses off.  This didn't stop me from having an awersome time, and signing up for seven more lessons at least.  I think it will be a very good time.  I stopped by Ceremony for a truly tragic reading, skipped over to Audobon for a "damn tasty burger".  then back to Ceremony for a lot more conversation, and a little less dancing (but a good time was still had, surprisingly so, all things considered.)

In other news, daylight savings time is serving me like it's serving many other people: going to bed late, zonked out and zombified during the day.

I seem to have a fair bit to do before I leave town on Friday.  I may require a little spice if I'm going to be folding space to get all this done.

What? You can't see the future all by yourself?

Seeing is easy, because I'm just extending my perceptions. There's little intrusion to the world around me.

Folding space is very complicated, and taxing. I have to bend more rules of physics, therefore I need the boost that the spice provides.

And besides, it's so very very tasty.
