Every so often, you do something stupid.  This was my weekend for it.  Bad decisions were made pretty much from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.  Compound the bad decisions with nighmares and alcohol, and you end up with a wretched weekend.

There were some good moments, though.

Mexican food was pretty tasty.  The first few moments of walking into Avalon.  Everything after two thirty on Sunday.

It's a new week.  There are new opportunities to not be stupid.  Let's take them, shall we?

We went to theamazingjb's kitchen!
Operating hours vary wildly, but the price is great, the ambiance is warm, and the drinks are muy macho!

Good luck! I'll try to not be stupid, too.

Wanna learn how to train with kettlebells? There's no therapy like iron therapy. You, [livejournal.com profile] fudjo and I should have a little Russian torture physical cultivation party.

I gave mrzero's a few trys, but mainly for lifting, not for doing anything with them. Maybe you or he could show me some of the exercises with them.

I did get some iron therapy in at the gym this weekend, which helped a lot.

That's a great philosophy! Mind if I join you in it?

I'm very proud of myself, I made it through a whole weekend without doing (or better yet in my case, saying) anything truly stupid! I burned my finger making crepes Friday, and missed my post office errand on Saturday, but those are minor enough to make it a success.

Feel free! A good philosophy gets ever better when it's shared.
