I get by with a little help from you know who
A long and stressful week is drawing to a close. There are two small things that are breaking the stress, which means they are not truly small at all. One is a CD mixed by Photiq, the track from it is a remix of "annie would I like to you?" It's a song that cuts right through me, snatches my brain, and sets it spinning on the dance floor. Dancing of late hasn't quite pulled me out of myself in the transcendental way it used to. Too much worry about staying out late, too much else going on. The song gave me a reminder of what it feels like to be lost in movement, and so I thank Photiq for that. I'm sure the rest of the CD will be equally moving.
The second small thing is the green light on my battery charger, telling me the batter for my new digital camera is charged. I'll be able to experiment with it a few times before this weekend. I've never had a camera growing up, and never got attached to taking pictures. Always behind the curve, that's me. I'm excited now to have a camera for several projects I have, and extremely grateful to the couple who gifted it to me. I look forward to capturing thesouls memories of my friends, and of future good times ahead.

I like playing that mix CD when I'm cooking.

Silentq, I made the mistake of first listening to your mix in my overheated office at 10pm! zzzzzz
On subsequent listenings I've found it soothing and very pleasing (in it's entirety, which I could not attest to after the first try). Thank you!

It was interesting putting it together as a lot of songs that I thought of as quiet would make me a bit anxious when I was listening to them with an ear for inclusion in the mix.
