Minor annoyances and major victories

Feeling generally poor the past few days.  A possible sickness is creeping up on me, and that cannot happen this weekend.
Mentally, things have been a little scary.  This can quickly be put right too, if I can find the time.

Now, for the good.  My credit card balance is officially at 0.00.  Stage 2 of the Finance Wars has been won.  The next campaign will be waged against the Federal; it will be a long fight but it's defeat is guaranteed, probably within the year. 

Does anyone really ever get out of debt?  I doubt it.  I'll take my A for effort, though.

Nah, I think you get out of some bad debt, and eventually rack up some better debt (lower interest rates, mortgages, etc.) Don't the crumbling but landed gentry say things like, "Its not how much you make, but how much you owe?" ;P

i don't think so.
as soon as i get my credit card balance down to zero, which i've done twice recently, something big happens that makes me have to run it up again. credit cards are a pain in the ass.

and theres student loans, and well, there' always osmething.

awesomeness - and it can be hard to maintain - I've gone to constantly trying to put a little extra on the side for the emergencies.

People get out of debt all the time... its' called being dead.

Congrats on stickin it to teh man, even though it's in a smallish sorta way. You gotta start somewhere...
