little victory

When you order sushi and they don't deliver,
and when you walk to get it,
and you decide to add a little green tea ice cream wrapped in dough (forget what it's actually called)
and they decide to throw it on free of charge, since you had to walk to get it.

Well,

That's a little victory.
The sweet taste of sushi is it's own little victory too, a reward for staying three hours late to catch up on a project.

It's called Mochi. Did you go to Hana? I wonder if you got the same waiter that we always get. I love him - he actually gave us a free dinner the other day (as a wedding present).

Well, I hope the sushi made you feel better, because yesterday's post and the way you seemed a little out of sorts yesterday...well...I was thinking about you.

mmm mochi

Yes, I did walk down to Hana. He wasn't working that night (I think his name is Michael). The sushi and sangria was nice, and I went to bed satiated and content. There are still big problems to be worked on.

Mmm delivery sushi. Although Sushi 21 isn't as good as New Ginza.

Very little, I have found, is as good as New Ginza!

Fried ice creammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! *drools*

well, this ice cream wasn't fried.

Fried ice cream is a sinfully delicious treat all on it's own. It's been a long time since I've sinned in that fashion.

Hey, free ice cream is not such a little victory :)

The happiness it brings is vastly greater than the amount of money saved!
