bed or torture device?

For the past few nights, maybe about a week's worth, I've been having lucid nightmares.  Things involving falling, being crushed, paralyzed with fear, waking up and seeing things moving in my room.  I've even tried calling out my roommate's name again in warning, but only emitting a gurgling moan.  Eventually I would ease into consciousness.  As strange as it may sound, I think it's the extra mattress on my bed.  Perhaps I'm lacking the support I need from just one mattress.  I'll let you know how it goes after tonight, when I remove the extra mattress.

It could be all the work stress too.

No Internet access for a week or so at home.  This is probably a blessing in disguise.

silly, you're supposed to sleep on TOP of the 2nd mattress, not sandwiched in between!

So THAT'S what I've been doing wrong. I'll fix that tomorrow.

Poor thing, I send you hugs. Invest in a memory foam matress pad, very choice. Very good nights sleep on those puppies.

I'll have to look into one of those. In the meantime, things have gotten a little better.

Good, for I know what it is like to have sleep ineterrupted by odd dreams and nocturnal exercises and the such. The lowest priced ones that I have found have been at WalMart, and they seem to have every size there. The next thing I would love to try is the memory foam pillow. Looks very promising.
