sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle motion!

Just finished watching Donnie Darko.
Goddamn, I'd forgotten how good that movie is.
The first time I saw it it alsomt broke my head.
I hadn't watched it again in years.

Tonight I let it wash over me and immersed myself in it.
So beautiful.

I *still* haven't seen it. There's something horribly wrong with that, isn't there?

Get on the stick, woman. Fast! You will love this.

Still have not seen that one.

What I said to Darla: you must see this film! Also Firefly, at some point.

I saw it for the first time not too long ago on the recommendation of my students. LOVED IT...great plot PLUS 80's music!

I thought you might appreciate Drew Berrymore's character.

Also, best version of Mad World ever.

And Tears for Fears!

which one did you watch? the original or the director's cut? i've seen them both and the original is far more disturbing than the director's cut. in the director's cut, you are pretty much told exactly what is going on via excerpts from grandma death's book.

both are good, but the original really disturbs me (in a good way, if such a thing is possible).

The original. I should watch the director's cut, but I think I'd like the original better.
