The blank page, it mockes me!

This weekend is shaping up to be something sweet indeed.  If it will only start already!  I'll just have to savor the anticipation for a bit longer, that's all.

Since I'm waiting for the brick of pad thai to dissolve in my stomach, some give me something to write about.  I'm in the mood to write something, but I'm lacking a subject.  Muses, where are you?

Pick a place you lived. Write as if you are sitting there, writing in that room. Describe it. Let it go where it goes.

(That's one thing my book is suggesting)

you're going to write me a wonderfully happy ending to my unrequited crush.
no lava or zombies but ninja are okay.

no lava or zombies but ninja are okay

Heh. You just made me laugh rather loudly! So...what about zombie ninjas?

well . . . we're talking about a love story here, right? so body parts falling off would be a bad thing. I think that leaves any type of zombie right out!

OK...no zombiess...unless someone is being saved from them. But the lava...now that could be romantic. Mood lighting perhaps? Don't mind me. I'm in a silly mood!

I totally understand your point . . . however lave, at least active lava flows, kind of implies something more in the action adventure genre. I was more in the mood for the soulful, eyes meeting, sparks flying, eternal love kinda thing. ya know? that is unless he's really in the mood to write a good ol' lusty bodice-ripper. I think I could go for that as well.

Hmm...let's ask his opinion. So...which shall it be? "A Soulful, eyes meeting, sparks flying, eternal love kinda thing." Or "A good ol' lusty bodice-ripper" kind of story? I could go for either myself :)

I suspect the he has moved on to do more interesting activities. it's possible that I feel slightly offended that he didn't find our banter interesting enough to keep him around. could it be that we are not half so fascinating as we think we are? :)

It is a combination of resuming my activities at work, a sudden stubborn install, and leaving to go hom on the T which has prevented me from replying. You chatterboxes!

Fear not, I will write about my room. And I will write about lava and ninjas and soulful bodice ripping. Or something much like that.

wait . . . you're saying there was a bodice-ripper at the end of RotK? did I miss something here? the closest thing I can remember to that is a nazgul tearing some poor schmuck in half.
