Signs of Progress

Sometime in March, Verizon will be sending me a check for over $100 for cancelling my service with them.  Apparantl, I credited a lot of money from them around the turn of the year.  I can find no argument with this.

I'm growing more comfortable with the ticket system at work.  The past few days were filled with the kind of phone calls that support people dread.  Calls that make you take off your belt and look for the nearest light fixture, or leave you shambling pale and cold in your office hunting for the scent of spicy brains.  Those calls are now in the past, successfully resolved, and things look much brighter today, our dismal weather nonwithstanding.

Speaking of the weather, the rain has drowned out my skating party plans for tonight.  Sadness.  The birthday girl has decided to get dinner at Rangzen in Central Square.  Happiness!  Do you think they'll have dal bat, Da Zhaung?

My big trip to Baltimore is a day and a week away.  I've already scoped out goth nights in Baltimore; it turns out there is a fetish club there called Tabbo.  Could be interesting.  If I can get my painting out of the way this weekend, I can spend the rest of the week relaxing.  That would be hella sweet.

I would think that any remotely Indian/South Asian restaurant would have dal bat, it's a dietary staple.

amazingly, they did not have it! they did have a tasty mushroom and chickpea appetizer, and some great overall food in general. I don't think I say anything on the menu made with lentils. Which makes we wonder how authentic the restaurant can be? Dal bat is more Nepalese than Tibet, so maybe I will cut them some slack.
