Sunday was a fine day.  Lots of painting, watching the first two Lord of the Rings movie, and shoveling a small mountain of snow.  No, really.  Two car lengths of 4' deep snow, plus the path to the street (about another half a car length).  I got the good news that work was cancelled that night, and slept in.

Monday should have been more fun, but it was a repeat of the day before, except not as engaging.  Apparantly there is only so much you can paint and watch in a set time period.  There was a fair bit of wasted time too.  I'm not looking forward to my roommate's trip, because that will be two long weeks of potential time wasting.  In an effort to fight that, I will be going out more.  Reading at coffee shops, visting some of You People, and more trips to Waltham. 

Today I've been tired all day, with a persistant headache that doesn't want to go away.  The gym should cure me of that. 
I can see the floor of my room again.  All of it, in fact.  Hooray for little victories.

Okay, so I've only done the first coat of paint on The Very First Figure.... but who knows where it will lead! ;) Yesterday was spent painting here also (after shoveling, of course). Mmmm.... painting. =)

A shadow dragon, though I have Saurus warriors, Cold Ones, and a C'Tan Nightbringer in the wings. And a Carnosaur with rider accoutrement.... hmmm... some undead of varying types....

Shadow dragon... and things in the wings. Right. SO didn't mean it to come out that way.

Just a random assortment at this time as I don't see actual *playing* in the near future. I'm getting sucked into the whole thing through the hands-on creation part of it all.

I've had odd visions of an eventual side business painting figures or doing terrain, but they're just visions at this point. Babysteps. Tonight: Black Ink Wash 101. ;)
