Moving on

The weekend has come and gone. I had a list of everything that could go right, and everything that could go wrong. If I looked back on each list, I would see checkmarks on both of them. The weekend held several surprises which were not on any list, surprises of the good variety. I think I really learned some lessons over the last year. These lessons should go a long way towards my well being, if I can study them. I think that I will.

Work is a little busier, now that my co-worker is gone, but not terribly so. I feel like I'm taking control of the reins around here a little more, which means more attentivness and feeling responsible. I like being on top of things, instead of just coasting along under the radar.

One thing I'm not on top of is Halloween. I have no costume, other than a few scattered ideas. I forsee a trip to Waltham and the costume store in my immediate future, either tonight or tomorrow. Of course, if I have all the parts of my harem guard costume, I could be all set. Perhaps a gladiator...

Of course, if I have all the parts of my harem guard costume, I could be all set.

don't you also have to...ummmm...lose some parts to be a harem guard?

that's what it's a costume, and not the real thing.
"Oh he's safe, he's a harem guard..."

heh heh

Dude, does that mean you're going to be a harem guard?

I sent you an email about it but it got returned so I was going to wait til I saw you in person.

I will in fact be a gladiator for the anniversary party. Harem Guard might work well at my friend's party the night before, but I may also go as a Matrix character with my brand new shiny clothing. Now I just need some guns.

We here celebrate Hallowen too. I'll be a cute doll-like girl with large ears - Persocon (human-like robot from anime series):))
Harem guard - it sounds great! But I think without your harem you'll feel so lonely ^_____~

[identity profile] silas7.livejournal.com 2004-10-26 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
You're right! I need a harem. Actually, there will be one at the first party I'm going to... I'll either be that or Neo.

Saturday's party I'll be partying Roman style, as a gladiator. There may be fighting. There won't be any trips to the vomitorium.

So many parties! You're lucky guy :) I've got only one invitation :( So I begun my costume design 2 weeks ago :)

As long as the one party is fun, you'll be just fine. :)
