All the news that's fit to print

thanks to wsmith for proving a ride, and sirendipity for meeting up to turn over some of her furniture. It will be well appreciated I'm sure. I also got a little education in Baroque music on the ride back.

The club was a ghost town. One DJ managed to clear the floor pretty consistently, though he did play a few tracks that almost got me moving. Shiver was kinda amazing. A handful would start dancing, then it grew and grew and multiplied and soon the dance floor was full. As full as a ghost town gets, but I had a good time while I was moving.

I'm about at my limit for snobbery, though.

and Misha played my mlada fronta birthday request for atalanta :), which got the floor as full as possible given how sparse the night was....

*blush* Thank you so much.

I have to admit that overall it was a rather disappointing night, and I was so relieved that the last 45 minutes happened.

The Mlada Fronta ("xb_33") song was right after Haujobb - "subsonic", and was the second-to-last song of the night. It's an instrumental track, slowish, with some tribalesque drumming and a very droning quality. I love that I've been playing this track off & on for 4 years, and now Boston is giving it a full floor wherever it's played. Couldn't happen to a better song :D
