Friday saw another spectacular night of dancing occur, along with an enjoyable performance on stage. I shared a knowing glance with the DJ as he played a track I didn't think he'd play. All told, I heard five of my three requests that night, including the original Blue Monday. Long live the New Math.

Saturday could best be describe as one long slow muscle burning day. The double move was carried out without any major hitches. Traffic, the occasional wrong turn, and the siphoning heat are all par for the course when you move in July. We overcame our obstacles with superior tactics (a fire brigade up three floors), alcohol, and a refreshing dip in the pool. I headed down to Providence with Heatray and Tegin to attend a tiki-themed birthday party for Militart. As the heat broke, and the sky darkened, fatigue crept in and nestled in every muscle of my body. I fueled up on espresso martinis and sangria, and enjoyed the festivities until somewhere between one and two. The sangria was a big hit again, as testimonials of hangovers the next day were recorded.

Well, Hell Night blew, I've missed a couple of Saturdays so I could have datey-type things, Wednesdays at Common Ground just didn't inspire me and karaoke last week I was too tired.

It's been FAR too long. So Wednesday I'll be at Manray where I hope the music won't suck.

DJ Jordan will be spinning, so I'm convinced it won't suck!
