The first forture of the New Year

Last night's Tarot reading was the best (that is, the only good reading)I've had in about 2 years. S asked me for my license to confirm it was me. Narrowly avoided disasters, ridding myself of static situations, an emotional state ruled by love, and if I continue to stay the course, Justice as my reward.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah.

I was already riding an endorphin high from the gym (my first day back in about a month) and that just propelled me forward into an evening of amusing conversations, sly smiles, sweet potent drinks, and amphetamined music. I hear some new good tunes, and I kept dragging myself out again and again. The new FLA track was a real treat. So was seeing an old mailing list buddy.

I handled a potentially embarassing situation with what appears to be grace and style.

Now it's the afternoon. I've weathered the Clubber's Comedown, with the help of some good friends and the miracle of AIM. There are plans to be had tonight that include raw fish on rice and TV shows on DVD that were cruelly cancelled before their time by an unthinking, clueless television studio. And there will be glorious sleep.

You sound like you have a fantastic evening planned - some of my favorite things. It's been entirely too long since I've indulged in the pleasures of sushi...

oh, and that thing that I believe is called sleep.
;D

Perhaps we should address that lack of sushi in your life sometime?

It's a good thing I'm moving even closer to Bluefin soon! MMMM!

Indeed it is...

and on top of being convenient, it is tasty and affordable too! woo!

I'm a huge fan of Guyhama, but can really only afford it for lunch still. Alas, I no longer work right across the street from it. BOO! (well, not boo, I like my job here much, much more!!)
