(no subject)

I thought I was getting bored of all my CD's at work. At least until I listened to them on random play. All of them. Strictly speaking, they aren't random at all, just all the tracks listed in alphabetical order. But the uncertainty of knowing what's coming next, hearing L'ame Immortelle, then Dryft, then Assemblage 23, the Changelings is very nice. Varied. Keeps you awake.

And I'm finding myself nicely occupied today, actually.

I'm a big fan of random play. I've got a 50 disk changer at home and often just put it on random and see what comes out. Ani Difranco to Tool to T Bone Walker to Show tunes to Rage to Dead Can Dance . . . Let the music define your mood.
