First (half) day of work - complete

I'm working in the Hancock building, which is a Mecca of corporate Boston is there ever was one. I'm sure the Prudential building has a similar feel for those who work in or near it. Suits everywhere, people holding meetings while walking, people stepping outside in the fresh air to drag on a cigarette before retreating inside again. Today was just an overview of what we'll be doing (updating laptops with new patches, and backing up their drives to the network). To fill in some time, we crimped network cables for a couple of hours. I'm now glad to say I know how to splice and repair a network cable. I also know that I'd rather not have to do that again any time soon. There's a small frustration factor, but mostly it hurts my wrists.

My shift will normally go from 2 to 11. If I think ahead I can bring clothes to go out in next week, but will I feel like going out right away? We'll see how I feel.

For now, I predict scrubbing my teeth and reading a few chapters of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (which my mom just sent to me. Thanks mom!

you were in my dream last night
I don't remember why

so although not having seen you in a while
I still feel as though I have seen you recently

this suggests to me that this is not the first time you have been in my dreams

wait
I remember now
We were talking about game in my dream
and that stupid character came up again
And I was talking about certain characters that I played for years
I have little memory of them
But that I did remember that one charcter that I played for
3 months

hmmmmm
I think that my sister and I had been talking about LJ

bizarro

Terminating Cat.5 cable is a worthwhile skill to know. Especially after you see what they charge for patch cables in the stores!

Hey there!

There’s a WH tournament tomorrow if you’re up for it. The GW in Harvard Square is running a 1966pt Fantasy RT. So it’s roughly 2k armies but with the 1500-1999 character/unit restrictions. No Lords. Should be fun. I’m finishing up a unit and doing general touchup tonight with the intention of playing.

What time does it start? I may be able to swing down that way, I'd just need to do an army list.
