Wow.

Y Tu Mama Tambien was an excellent movie. I didn't expect it to have such a sad ending though.

The End

I'm trying to remember .. wasn't it abrupt?

The sadness was the most real part of the movie.

I didn't find it too unbelievable... but it all just fell apart at the end. A friend of mine showed me some clues that foreshadowed the horrible news of the film. I just didn't pick up on it.

ok

Now, go watch Sex and Lucia.

It never fails to bring tears to A's eyes. I love it and think it's a brilliant piece of work.

Y Tu Mama Tambien is really good though. I didn't expect the end either. I'm on the fence if it's good enough to buy or not. It captures male adolescence so well though. If only I'd been that cool when I was a kid.

I plan to!

I was remembering your comments about that movie, do you know a local store that carries it?

I will probably end up buying it.

My favorite video store in Boston/Cambridge is Hollywood Express. There's one just outside Porter Sq. on the corner of Linnean St. and another outside Central Sq. You can rent it there. You can buy it from Newbury Comics.

Uh-oh, I read this just as I was about to put that movie in!
(Weird coincidence).

Sad ending? I have already cried over one ending tonight. Yeep.

The movie just flows so well... and then it all falls apart. It's pretty realistic (the way some friendships just fall apart) but still very sad. It just addes extra poignancy to the phrase "coming of age".
