Winning isn't enough

I spent the better part of the day inside the Harvard Sq. Games Workshop store. To make things blissfully short for the non-little-men crowd, I won my first two games then lost the last one, but I won the best army award for the day. The guy who beat me won nothing, which is somehow fitting. Remember all you aspiring generals out there, it's not just about crushing your opponents into dust. It's about looking good and making them enjoy their defeat. And minimize the gloating. ;)

I'm fighting to stay awake, as I'm sort of waiting on a phone call. I may give them one last try, then go to bed. There's brunch to be had, then I must summon my X-men.

Hey, there's the phone.

was this a fantasy RTT? with the dark elves? how are tournies there? any better or worse than the ones at DP?

It was a fantasy RTT, and the Dark Elves did finally triumph. It was a pretty good time, the space was nice, they had music in the background, and during breaks we could run around Harvard Square. The fantasy tournies at DP are pretty decent, so I don't notice too much difference.
