Gobsmacked
Oct. 14th, 2014 05:04 pmI've had to replace a set of keys and phone lately, both of which caused very little hassle. Replacing my car (which I lost in an accident in February) was taking a bit longer. I will know by tomorrow the date that I can start looking for a car.
So, about that.
I checked out the dealership where I got my old new car (a Subaru Impreza premium), and started scrolling through their inventory, and I found a car that matched my old car in every possible way. It turns out they had not one, but TWO cars just like that roll through their lot. One is available now. My car was a manual transmission, and Nate told me there were five of them in all of New England. I can't begin to explain how random and improbable that is. I told him to use the money I put down before on that car to hold onto it, while I wait for the rest of my situation to resolve.
It's crazy, you guys.
