The storms raged in my head yesterday, and made my Mage game practically unplayable. My food choices were particularly bad as well, it is a subject that bears investigation. The storms raged on the in morning, walking to the T was as demanding as a Crossfit workout. My brooding was interrupted by a "suave" European guy trying to hit on a cute girl on the train who was reading The Hunger Games. He prattled on and on, keeping the conversation going, shifting from the book itself to other books, and movies, and where she was from, and little almost insults designed to tease and elicit a response. I don't know if I was angrier than he engaging in his seduction during the morning commute, or that she was buying into it, but his District was about to lose a competitor, if you know what I mean.

The storm seems to have passed for now. Part of me wants to pass on going out tonight, which could be a very perilous evening. On the other hand, we are responsible for our own happiness. To that extent, I will gird myself for battle with a workout, and a plate of sushi. I will venture forth in the comfort of friends, among the animals, and lose myself in the jungle for a spell.
