Sara's Tarot future has been delayed
Dec. 7th, 2011 05:17 pmSara read my cards at Laced the past week, and was flabbergasted at how positive it was. She spoke of the start of a new relationship in my future. More on that later.
Update on the date: I logged in Tuesday to send her a "I had a good time, shall we try again?" Only to find that she had deleted her account. Perhaps the date didn't go as well as I thought. While I amused myself with new nicknames like the Ladychiller, the Profile Killer, I decided that anyone who does that is clearly not worth my time. Now if five women delete their profiles after talking, I may take a closer look at my behavior on dates. As it stands, I'm already lining up another date this weekend, and going through the "what are you like" process with another girl. All outside this particular scene.
I may be dealing well on the outside, but inside, the nightmares are returning. I don't recall what happened Monday night, but Tuesday's double feature had me trapped with some people, one of us was going to turn into Jason and kill the rest in gruesome ways. I lit out of there at full speed, and thought I was sinking into the road at the end, I had the feeling I was getting away. Woke up, went back to bed, just in tim for nightmare #2. There was a stadium, filled with examples of all manner of horrible things: from serial killers to vampires, zombies to Godzilla and killer robots. At the end of the exhibit, all the creatures were lying down on the floor eyes closed. Their eyes snapped open, they screamed, and the lights went out. Everyone fled, and I knew people were being bitten and turned into more monsters. Once again, despite the classic "moving slow when being chased" motif of horor films, I once again acquired a car and escaped, then woke up.
The interesting thing to note in both occasions, is that I was able to run from the problem. I think the next thing to try is to face down the scary things in my dreams. Hopefully I'll get back to the dreams involvingcute Korean LARPers and not monsters. What do you say, brain?
