Time flies!

What's up? The new year is treating me very well. Work is constant and steady, we've added a new person to the help desk for the first time in six years. The Conflict GT was a ball (except for one surly player). Another bottle of Kraken rum was released, with suitable hijnjks: a bizzare game of all-in poker, impromptu wrestling matches, and more interesting uses for waste baskets. I had a 3-2 record, finishing 18th out of 46 players. I also tied for the third best paint job in the room, and several players stopped as they walked by to take pictures of my army. That is a reward all in itself.

The past week was not a good one for sleep; I kept getting up early and staring my day very groggy. Despite that, I was feeling fine and wanted to cancel my doctor's appointment. He wouldn't do so, so I went. The entire session left a bad taste in my mouth for a few reasons, but I did get something useful out of it. How things progress in the next few sessions will determine if I bail or not.

Though this night is bitter cold, there will soon be a warming of houses, some divine drinks, and maybe a little dancing. Be ready for anything!
