I've heard no word back about my missing wallet, so the great replacement process is underway

Debit card: new card ordered at bank. I couldn't get any cash out (no ID) but I do have a valid US Passport at home, and they will accept that. Withdrawls can occur tomorrow.
Drivers License: duplicate ordered and paid for today. My Passport can get me into bars and should serve in the unlikely event that I get pulled over somewhere.
Charlie Pass: talked with the folks in HR. Our receptionist said it was a major hassle to get her card back, my boss said it should be relatively painless.
Credit card: checked it out, no strange purchases. Once my fee for the new license is processed, I'll cancel the card ask for a new one. I have more than enough cash to last me.
Social Security Card: still need to contact them about that, owning a passport should be a major help in expediting the process.

The party itself was a fascinating time, truly a unique event in my experience. The vibe was very positive and exciting, but losing my wallet halfway through put a dent in my vibe. Taking my second energy drink botle was a mistake, as I spent the last few hours of the party tweaked out and anxious. We left at five, I couldn't actually sleep until seven in the morning. Good times were had, and I made a new friend or two. Even though my gaming friends said the Colonial was the best they've ever been to, I'm not sad about missing it. There's more to say about it, but I'll save that for face-to-face conversations.

Well, I am sad about losing my wallet. Maybe if I go to the party next year, I'll be smarter, and bolder.
