Five for five
Jun. 8th, 2009 12:31 pmFriday night: Sushi and the movie Jumper. The sushi was much better than the movie.
Saturday: Lunch with Dmitri was a good time; tasty Indian buffet while talking about Wildfire adventures and misadventures, and the growing size of the event taking away from the sense of community.
Dinner with Diamondsea followed that; shrimp with lobster sauce and Venture Bros marathon. This time the Venture Bros was much better than the lobster sauce. I'm eagerly looking forward to more Team Venture action! I rounded out the night with dancing at Underworld. The night started off well, got a little rocky midway through, and ended on a solid note (thanks in no small part to my friends from Rhode Island, a surprise visit with Lulu's Curse, and a ballroom dance with one of the fire spinners).
Sunday: I slept in late, almost too late! Bruch with Stephanie and company; waffles, hash browns, and mimosas while watching people spin and chat. It was great re-igniting some friendships prior to going to Wildfire, even if I couldn't stay for very long. It was off to DND; general gau's chicken and space piracy. We stole a phylactery from a mind flayer ship, and are speeding full tilt towards the end of our adventure! I ended my night by watching the Ruins, it was a very enjoyable horror flick.
So, all social engagements met, all good times. This seems to be an overabundance of things going on this week, some things will have to give.
