So the weekends over and I'm really @#$%ing tired. He's really @#$%ing tired? Yes I'm really @#$%ing tired.
Yes, I finally got around to seeing Repo! the genetic opera. Overall, I was pretty happy with it, except for a few musical numbers (Seventeen) and a few characters (the non-Ogre brother was utter crap). Very pleasing visually, catchy music, not groundbreaking, but neat. It may find a home on my shelf someday, right next to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.
Other weekend movie treats were Pathology (gruesome and disturbing) and Slumdog Millionaire (I hadn't planned on seeing it, and I wouldn't quite call in "enjoyable" but it was worth seeing. I'm taking a slight tangent here: I hear a lot of people talk about how India and China are going to be the mega-superpowers of the 21st century, but I question how they'll be able to pull that off. China is choking to death on pollution and corruption, and India has massive issues with poverty and plenty of intersect strife of it's own. Unless they get those issues under control I think they'll implode before becoming the next super power.
All of Saturday and Sunday were out of whack this weekend, and I can probably trace the root of the problem to Too Much Awesomeness at Xmortis I did have a good time, but I don't know if being drained the entire weekend was worth it. I'm going to take a stand and say no, on that.
Overall, that's two weekends now that were decidedly sub par. Third times the charm?
