The midnight showing of Watchmen was totally worth it. It was amazingly faithful to the graphic novel, with some necessary streamlining and one story change (that in my opinion works better when seen in the theater). Definitely go see it.
I had to cancel game last night, because when I was driving my car, the steering wheel pulled sharply to the right, and made a grinding noise when turning. The wheel was almost pressed up against the wheel well of my car. The diagnosis from the mechanic? My subframe had roted away and was cracked. I double checked it on the Internet, and this is a "common" problem with my style of car. I'm probably looking at a $1000 repair bill. I am apparently very lucky, had this given way when driving my car would have wrecked. Is my life worth $1000? I'd like to think so.
