Another weekend has come and gone, and a fine, fun weekend it was.  Sara's friend Amy stopped by to join us for Xmortis, where I resumed my dance partner / bodyguard duties.  It was quite a bit of fun that night, a combination of She Wants Revenge, Erasure, and New Order making for a great spot of dancing.  The ladies stayed up to chat, but I was ready for bed when I got home.

Saturday was a long day of testing new armies out in Waltham, great fun was had there too desipite losing all my games.  I feel like I've really passed the point of getting upset and my dice, my attitude is vastly improved, and I can simply enjoy the ups and downs of the game and have a blast.  Isn't that what playing games are all about?  I grabbed a quick bit of dinner and stopped by Asenath's house to pick her up for a Baccanalian themed party.  She was just putting the finishing touches on a pair of pants for me.  They are made out of fake fur, and are shaggy as all get out.  They are easily the most ridiculous thing I've ever worn, and I love them.  They're crazy warm to boot, I think I'll be wearing them a lot this winter.  The pants were a big hit, though I should have rememberd to put a tail on them.  The party was very chill, very comfortable, and a great contrast to the rest of the weekend.

Sunday I invited Sarah_swarti and spriggan over for Clue viewing.  Sarah brought plum cake (appropriately) and got to hang out and chat outside the club for a change. Her mom saw some pictures for me and said "what a handsome Irish boy!"  Nice one, Mum.  Later that night my roommate and I watched The Sting.  I've been blessed for a long time with having really good roommates; having a safe and stable home is the foundation for a happy life.  With this kind of foundation, my life looks to be very happy indeed.
