Discretion ALSO arm update

There were delays at home, but I made it to spin jam and was able to take Basil's class.  Not only is he an excellent spinner, but he's a good teacher too.  He said I was picking things up really well (which is nice to hear, as the past few weeks haven't felt like progress).  That's when I noticed the head of my poi fell off.  The screw had ripped right out.  I talked to Chad, and I'll probably get a monkeyfist (actual burnable poi) in the next week or so. 

Getting food didn't go so well, but I pushed it a bit and went to Ceremony.  Only stayed for about an hour or so, then went home and tried to catch up on sleep.  Partial success there.

 

EDIT: The pain has changed over the last few days. There are now pressure points, accompanied by a tingling "pins and needes" effect, as if your arm was falling asleep. This is focused in my left forearm. Doctor's visit is two days away.
