Zapatos nuevos!
Mar. 13th, 2008 10:55 amMonday night I picked up my new toy at poi practice: a fire staff. I'll have something new to burn at 4th of July this year. During the chow down after practice, I learned that WildFire this year is happening the same weekend as my Florida warhammer tournament. I think the tournament is taking a back seat this year. I haven't been to a WildFire yet, and I'm eager to check it out. There's no shortage of other event to atttend in a given year.
The last few days involved a lot of mental exercises. It's tough work, but it gets easier the more you do it.
My last pair of shoes finally gave up the ghost, so I picked up a new pair. I learned that my foot is a wide, which is what contributed to the early death of my last two pair of shoes. Here's hoping these bad boys stick around a little longer. You know, a nice new pair of shoes DOES make you happier!
I have some awesome friends, and I look forward to seeing them over the next few days.
