"It is finished."
Jan. 13th, 2008 11:05 pmA general walks up to a podium. Flash bulbs wink and pop in the air. He shuffles some papers, lifts his head and speaks.
"On January 10th, 2008, the final salvo was fired in Operation Get Silas7 Out of Debt. The U.S. Treasury, trapped and pinned down with heavy fire, signaled it's complete and unconditional surrender. All fire has been concentrated on the super star destroyer, there can be only one, and that horizon has been broughten. We want to extend our congratulations to the forces of Silas7 and the hard work and dedication that brought this moment to be. While there is some ancillary damage to clear up as a result of the holidays, the major forces of debt have been brought to pay. The battlefield is silent, for now. The troops can come home."
The general leaves the podium, and makes his exit amidst a flurry of questions and the lightning of the cameras.
