Friday's party was the height of awesome. A room full of friends, free flowing libations, and copious amounts of Rock Band made for an evening that was the height of my weekend. The after party was amusing as well. What was less amusing was the extreme difficulty in steering my car home. Good thing I go to the gym.
Saturday my credit card got a workout when I dropped the car off. Registration, and a new power steering belt. Monetarily, it was a light workout, I'm just glad things are up and running again. It did derail the gaming plans for the afternoon. The evening started with nachos and a viewing of Fido (domesticated zombies in the 50's, funny and twisted) with Tegin. Warning: Harpoon cider is pretty disappointing. Free parking got us off to a rock start start, as did talking with an old friend from the pool tables. The club quickly filled up, and while I couldn't catch a decent buzz, spirits remained high through the night. I passed on any after parties in favor of more sleep.
Sunday: In an impressive display of scheduling, I managed to get through my laundry, arrive early (!) for game, and survive the session (despite forgetting to make use of a very obvious tool). Game ended early which was a bit of a shame, but we are in the thick of the last adventure of our current story. I'm extremely excited to see where things break open from here.
It's an exhausting morning, time for lunch now and to press on through the next wave of sleep. Head space is a little better than last week so far, let's see how things develop.
