The MassArt iron pour took place in a courtyard, completely surrounded by the school itself.  There was a small area roped off for fire spinners, and a larger one where the iron pour was taking place.  Highlights of the pour were a few pumpkins being filled with molten iron, quickly cooling and taking on the shape of the pumpkin, and a wet log that exploded in a dazzling shower of sparks that almost filled the display space.  It was breath taking.  I actually got to spin again as opposed to just watching, which was unexpected and cool.  The night rounded out at TT's for dolls and dancing, where I narrowly avoided winning a free drink at the pool table.  Seeing old friends from all over was a nice touch to the night.  Later, there was pie.

Saturday afternoon was for Warhammer, getting a loss and a draw for my league.  The first game was very frustrating, but the second one was much more fun.  I stopped off at Heatray's for tasty sandwiches and drinks before driving over for Bloodfeast.  While the doors opened early, word about said early opening wasn't widely known, so the club was dead (heh) for the start of the night.  It quickly filled up with revelers, but I still wasn't feeling it.  Was I tired?  Was I in a bad mood?  The answer lay in my costume, for while dashing private eye's look good with a martini glass in hand, dashing private eyes do not shake it on the dance floor.  They glower over their whiskey, and try to avoid guys like Gino and Tony.  One quick costume change later, and the revelry began in earnest.  Later, there was (pizza) pie.

Sunday was given over to relaxing, painting, reorganizing the office, and a small halloween hot dog party.  I hadn't eaten much of anything all day, so before I knew it I was stuffed with hot dogs.  There were scary movies, some hard as heck games of Guitar Hero 3, and finally the Red Sox game.  Later, there was no room for pie (having won the hot dog eating contest).

Today was long and slow, which might be good for some activities, but not for working.  It seems we have lost our space for spinning practice at BU, and are in the process of looking for more rehearsal space.  My body will be grateful for a little extra rest right now, but the rest of me hopes we'll find a space to play soon.
