Painful endings
Aug. 6th, 2007 11:32 amFriday night: painting, hanging out with Spriggan watching the awesomeness that is Starship Troopers, then out for a few drinks at Noir with _perihelion_. We had good conversations about new TV pilots and the changing of the guard in the club scene.
Saturday: one long, scorpion bowl drinking, water gun splashing, body shot taking, tasty snack nibbling, guitar hero thrashing, blow out of a luau. One of the better parties I've been to in a while. I lasted about ten hours, and slept the sleep of the polynesian dead.
Sunday: nothing kick starts your day like getting rear ended by a car! Some lady backed into me as she was pulling out of the parking lot at CVS. "I didn't see you behind me," she said. "Well, obviously" her husband added. I didn't feel like dealing with anything or collecting info, since I just appeared to have a little dent in my door. The dent's a little more noticeably when viewed from the outside, and I'm kinda sore today, but still. I ended up getting my wires crossed about an invitation to visit friends in Providence. I feel bad about not hanging out, but they were vague as to which day they wanted me to come down. It will all get sorted in the future.
So, there you have it. One awesome weekend. Next up with be the return to poi tonight, and getting Down with Tempo.
