weekend end recap, hold the sap

Friday night started out on the anxious side, I missed what was probably an epic party.  I'll know better not to miss it next time!
Saturday I headed down to Abington to a Warhammer tournament.  I ended up with 2 wins and a draw, enough to win first place.  I was happy enough with the win, the $100 of store credit was just gravy!  I didn't have time to spend it, as I was late for a dinner party.  (It's still waiting for me there, though.)

The party was amazing.  So much delicious food, and enough leftovers for two meals.  (One of which I'm eating now).  I got to talk with some of my friends, make some reconnections, and ran into a few familiar faces from Montreal.  It would be nice to see them again sometime sooner than a year from now.  I smell a road trip to Canada in my near future.  I topped the night off with dancing at Toast, with good friends and music.  I almost posted lyrics from "You Keep Me Hanging On", so count yourself lucky you got "I Can See Clearly Now" instead.

I made it to my DND earlier in the day, and wound the weekend down at home.  Our houseguests were leaving, friends of my roommate's from SF.  It will be nice to get the living room back, but it was also very nice hanging out with them, and having people around the house.  This just goes to show that I need to go out and be social more.

There you have it!  Hopefully there will be poi and some more dancing tonight.  The new 9-5 schedule is pretty much a good thing, I'd say.
