et tu, vindaloo?
Aug. 16th, 2006 02:18 pmThe past few days have been highly disorienting. Monday we didn't go to Plymouth because I thought I had a doctor's appointment. We went to the children's museum for Aaron. It turns out he had outgrown most of the exhibits. I liked the Japanese house, and read an amusing prayer the Indians read over a falled deer (it boils down to "we respect and honor you, but we have to eat. Thanks for letting us eat you.") It turns out my appointment was for the next day, and my head didn't really hurt anymore. I cancelled the appointment. We relaxed and had a good day, but didn't seem to communicate very well. I thought they'd be more interested in what was going on in my life. I'm not sure I was in the best mood to talk with them anyhow.
They left during the rain the next day, which I spent introducing a new friend to Human Traffic, before I realized (this morning) I had missed a SECOND appointment!
Today I'm more or less back on track: Appointments have been rescheduled, plans for this week solidified, and I'm back to getting to work on time. My indian food was spicy but not too much so. Let's get crackin'
