I'm only 16 years late or so, but....
Jun. 22nd, 2006 10:29 amSasha+Digweed put out some great music.
I'll be picking up some other new music with some Amazon gift certificates too. New to me, that is. Which means it could be anything between 1990 and now. It's great to find older music that really moves you, but it sucks to miss out on movements. I missed all the good trance/rave scene stuff in the late 80's/early 90's. I went to some parties in the early 2000's, but that was when trance and raves in general were past their heyday. What would be considered cutting edge these days? It would be nice to explore and discover that sort of a scene. I imagine I'd stick out like a sore thumb (or a narc) at any of the events if they did exist. Musical revolutions are for the young.
Not that that would stop me from dancing my feet off on a sandy midnight beach sometime. Oh no.
