The evening began with dinner at Francesca's.  The food was late, but the company (mishak, taliensdaughter, tegin, annabelle, couplingchaos, k & j) made it worth the wait.  They finished eating and raced to the Cyclorama, oversized wrenches thrown over their shoulders, while I wandered down Tremont street.  I browsed through a video store, sipped some wine at Liquid and got my hair cut.  Jason sneakily cut it shorter than I intended, but the extra sleek look worked well with my outfit for the night.

If the B&D Ball was a part in a movie, there would have been acrobats crawling through the iron rigging in the ceiling.  The acrobats would wear vinyl, have flashing lights on their costumes, and little laser projectorson their heads which they could use to scan through the crowds.  As it was, the Ball still had a bigger than life feel to it. The venue was crowded, and the long lines to the bar were well documented and not worth repeating.  The highlight of the evenings was dancing in the new and improved skirt, colored lights flashing around, gleaming bodies twisting and turning in the night, or occasionally fitting within the curve of my arm.  I saw so many of your there, and I remember how happy that made me feel.  The evening ended with a discussion with a cute submissive in the coat line, where she noted that if she were working the coat check, she would work three times as fast, so she could get her "reward" all the quicker.

Only at the Ball!
The lack of hangover helped, but the terrain didn't.  Our bi-monthly Warhammer tournament came and went, I went 2-1 and came in second place overal.
That makes 3 finished in the top 4 (out of 14-16 players each time).  I'd say my game is definitely improving.

The downpour continued all day, but I wouldn't let something as simple as water stand in the way of my Monster of Rock(star) weekend.  I was on a roll.
Heatray, Tegin, and I braved the rain and went out to VI.  The large number of trash barrels and tubs catching rainwater reminded me of the rainy days at ManRay.  The club opened late due to a theater show before it, and the crowd was sparse to say the least, but a small group of us wrung enjoyment from the evening.  There were lessons in combing hair, and if you don't think that can be exciting, you've never really combed someone's hair before *S*.

Sunday.  Rest.  Relaxation.  Exalted game with good friends and tasty Mexican food that never seemed to end.  Breakfast and lunches acquired for the week.  A fair bit poorer, but weekends like this only come around once in a great while.  Some small roadblocks arose, but nothing that couldn't be circumvented.  This weekend gets a big, fat check in the Win column.
