Boston is drowning in gray dreamy clouds and cold clammy weather.  This would be perfect atmosphere for Lycia, or My Bloody Valentine, or I suspect Sigur Ros.  Such music would make doing work impossible.  What to listen to instead?  Sorted, by DJ Accucrak!

Work has been grueling and exhausting the past few days.  The evenings have been much better.  Salsa class rocked pretty hard.  There was more loosening up, I nailed the turns, and this week picked up the cross body leads as well, which were giving me trouble last week.  Lots of tradiing with partners, and a photographer was there too, taking pictures for some paper or another.  Nepenthe and I were photographed, and our names taken.  Other names of note: Daniela (who is way too good for this class), Bev (one of my parnters from last week), Sarah (new to the class, but who picks things up quick, and is oddly familiar), and Cassie (new parnter).  I'm working at linking names and faces from class to class.  Mae Lin talked about getting people together for practice, which would be cool.

More dancing was had at Singularity.  I wasn't up on the industrial set, I think it would have gone over better at THUD.  The important thing is that dancing and talking were had.  I must say that my nights at Ceremony have vastly improved as of late, and it's becoming much more comfortable and a source of good memories.  Bully for that.

Tuesday night I visited Annabelle and we overlooked my skirt.  We came up with some revisions to it: widening the strips, making a few less of them, using a different fabric for the stripes that won't give as much, and attaching them different.  The result should be finished for me by the Ball.  I'm rather excited to wear it for the Ball again, and for VI in the future.  I ended the night with sushi as a well deserved treat, and headed off to dreamland.
