I'm eating this now... lunch time be damned!

Monday continues to be long and draining, practically asleep on my feet all day.  Salsa class got off to a bad start, I couldn't keep the rhythm or energy up at all.  At least when it came to learning the steps, I nailed those.  Partner dancing varied between okay and awkward, which is only to be expected when you pair up a lot of strangers with varying degrees of skill.  I danced with Nepenthe, then Daniela (who obviously had done this before), it was all I could do to hang onto her.  I decided to focus on asking people to dance who were left sitting out, as we didn't have an even number of people.  It was a challenging night, and I need to practice more. 

I hadn't planned on going to Ceremony but was very glad I did so.  Any potential problems with me wearing sweatpants and sneakers to a big swirly dress up Goth night were banished when I got waved in the door by Fugbug.  Lots of people were out, and good conversations were had with old friends and new.  I even managed to get some (more) dancing in. 

Tuesday was spent at home, resting up, trying to shake whatever was hooking it's claws into me.  Whatever it is is still here.  The lethargy and foggy mental state continue.  A small measure of victory was gained when I cleaned up the office and my bedroom. 

My roommate is gone for the next two weeks for a vacation in Ireland.  I should probably have people over for movies and dinner, as company is always a good thing.  Sangria on the back porch, anyone?
